Headline: Get your geek on!

Horizon High School’s spirit week is on day two. Nerd day brings many big glasses, small pants, and pocket protectors galore.

Only 11% of Horizon’s student body dressed up. Most of that percentage comes from Student Government themselves. Some nerds went all out, dressing from head to toe geek-sheek, while others preferred to stick to the simple 3-D glasses.

It looks like Hawk pride might be lacking a bit this spirit week, but those who did dress up seemed to have fun while doing it.

“Days like nerd day make me actually look forward to going to school,” sophomore Samantha McCreary said.

Thursday is hippie day, and hopefully Horizon will get more than the weak percentage of school-spirited than there was on Tuesday and Wednesday.
