Paint it Black

Today was blackout day, the first day of Horizon’s spirit week.
Only 15 out of 71 hawks were decked out in black.
That’s only 21 percent people!
What happened to hawk pride?
It’s lagging behind ladies and gentlemen.
Tomorrow is nerd day, get your geek on!
Show some school spirit, and rock the suspenders!

“Yeah, I’m into spirit week, only I don’t remember wearing very much when I was a hippie…,” staff member Larry Faulkner said.

“I love school spirit week, it’s a chance to look like a complete and total freak, and not get judged for it,” sophomore Daniela Chavez said.
