Goodbye Barbecue

600 staff and students attended Horizon’s annual Senior BBQ in the little gym due to nasty weather for the 500 graduating seniors on May 13.

“I thought it was a great way to end the year, and a good way to spend time as a class. It wasn’t until the barbecue that it actually hit me that graduation is in three days,” senior Vanessa Wynne said.

Even though the gathering consisted of endless barbecue and other delicious snacks, most of the seniors sat in the middle of the gym signing yearbooks and reminiscing on the last four years.

“I’m super excited to graduate, and take on the next part of life,” Jessa Vonfeldt said.

For the seniors of Horizon, graduation will be on Monday, May 17.
